1. If starting your vehicle from a condition when it was parked under broad sunlight, open all the windows and switch on the blower in Fresh Air mode. This will help in removing the intense heat built up in your vehicle, due to sunlight. 

2. Switch off the AC when you stop at red lights. Let the blower run, so that you do not feel uncomfortable. 

3. With the AC on, make sure that air mode is in recirculation. 

4. Initially run the blower at third speed, but after initial cooling, reduce the speed of blower to second or first speed according to your own comfort. Lesser blower speeds give better cooling.
